Guiding Principles

Vision
Managed projects will be the way in which work gets done in the 21st century. As we move into this century, we cannot lose sight of our humanity.

We must encourage the best character traits in ourselves and our workforce:

  • honesty
  • integrity
  • accountability
We cannot simply give our project managers and teams a set of rules, tools and processes and expect them to succeed.

Companies that take on the rigor of project management must look first at some basic principles:

  • thoughtful, written requirements
  • open and honest communication at all management levels
  • integrity about testing
  • respect for the end user or customer
These desirable traits, grounded in strong principles, can flourish only in a well-managed environment.

Leadership:
"I am a leader by asking the best of myself and others. We learn to help others as we have been helped, and in the process, experience purpose in life."

- Joe Gauld, Founder, Hyde Schools
