Donald Gardner, President of Gardner Integration Group, has 30 years' experience as an information delivery specialist and project manager for the financial services and healthcare industries. He has managed initiatives for a
broad range of strategic and tactical projects, including Project Management Office development and operation,
global platform deployment, systems development, debit card processing networks, healthcare information syndicates
and call center/operations center consolidation initiatives.
Following his early years at the Irving Trust Company as an application developer, Donald worked at Citibank
from 1979-89 as Citicard/ATM/POS Project Manager. He built a Project Office at Bank Leumi & Trust in New York
in the early 90s and then consulted in direct banking and healthcare delivery strategies from 1992-96 for Benton
International. He returned to Citibank in 1996 as one of the principle architects for Citibank's Corporate Bank
Global Project Office. He helped build the Project Management Framework, and led the team that created and
delivered the Advanced Project Management Course to Citibankers, worldwide. Donald also functioned as
Consumer Bank Project Risk Review Director for Citigroup Audit and Risk Review Division, working with business
leaders and project managers to help reduce risk and promote project success.
Donald left Citibank in 1999 to establish Gardner Project Integration Group, Ltd. He currently advises clients in the United States, Europe and Asia, specializing in delivering project management competency. Donald is a certified
project management professional, PMP; he is a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and is past
Chair of the Financial Services Specific Interest Group.
